Paint Rock Angus Ranch
Paint Rock Angus Ranch and moving on to Cheyenne

Take a look at the Paint Rock Angus Ranch. Picture country and an outstanding set of bulls! If you want some of these high country genetics in your herd then you don’t want to miss the December 12th sale. Paint Rock Angus will be selling coming 2-year-old bulls, yearling bulls, and Commercial and Registered females. Red Angus Bulls to be sold in the spring. Click here for more info.
After thanking the Mercers for their hospitality in putting me up for the night and showing me around the ranch, I head back out on the road.
I make my way to Cheyenne, Wyoming for a meeting with leadership of the Wyoming Stockgrowers. The Wyoming Stockgrowers are a very active and respected state cattle association. USCA is working on several issues that are of interest to this group so I wanted to provide them with an update and gather input on key legislation that we will be working on in the 111th Session of Congress. The meeting went very well, and I really appreciate the ranchers who took the time to come in and meet with me. From there, I drove the remainder of the night to arrive in Torrington, Wyoming just short of midnight!
To Wyoming
I am back on the road for meetings in Wyoming. After fighting some more bad roads (and I will not go into detail this time) but just know that if it’s raining in Buffalo, Wyoming then it will be snowing on the high elevation of the pass leading to Ten Sleep, Wyoming! Fortunately I made my way through the winter blizzard and to spend the night at the Paint Rock Angus Ranch with my good friends, Tom and Mary Mercer.
