American Horse League Meeting, Newell, SD

I had the privilege of joining Chase Adams, Jeff Smeenk and some of the leadership of the American Horse League at their meeting in Newell, South Dakota. This group has just started and is now doing the hard (and needed) work of educating both the public and policymakers about the need for proper and humane horse treatment and management policies. Saturday evening found me stacking hay. The ranch is looking pretty good for the first of August. It felt good to do some “real” work for once!

Now, I am headed back to South Dakota for meetings. I will be speaking at the Faith Livestock Market at 12:30 CDT on Monday August 3rd.
