To Wyoming

I am back on the road for meetings in Wyoming. After fighting some more bad roads (and I will not go into detail this time) but just know that if it’s raining in Buffalo, Wyoming then it will be snowing on the high elevation of the pass leading to Ten Sleep, Wyoming! Fortunately I made my way through the winter blizzard and to spend the night at the Paint Rock Angus Ranch with my good friends, Tom and Mary Mercer.

Grounded in family

As I conclude for today I just want to say thanks to my Dad. All of my family means a great deal to me. Days like this—getting up early, hitting the road, and attending a large event are memories with my Dad that I will always treasure. My schedule is obviously crazy, and at times I think I might have to just quit. But my family is always there encouraging me to move forward, and—despite how ridiculous my plans and schemes may seem—they still support me!

I can see the future

Today I spoke on the Sturgis 810 am KBHB 5 State Live. Chase Adams is one of the premier ag broadcasters in the country. Not only does he do an outstanding job of broadcasting, but he is also one of the most politically and policy savvy individuals I have ever met. You read it here first on this blog: Chase Adams is already known in the Dakotas, Montana, Nebraska, and Wyoming, but someday he will be known from coast to coast!

Introducing Montana Cattlemen’s Association

I woke up to the sound of my Dad’s voice saying: “It’s time to get back on the road!” A few minutes before 7:00 am, Dad and I were bound for Lewistown, Montana for a very exciting and action packed event: the annual meeting of the Montana Cattlemen’s Association. The Montana Cattlemen’s Association (MCA) is an affiliate of the U.S. Cattlemen’s Association. I can’t say enough good things about MCA and how much I appreciate the work its leaders and membership carry out. Please view the MCA press release for the best description of the event.
